I am a new-generation leader with a passion for Greensboro and the intelligence, integrity and experience to add value to the City Council by putting that passion to work for our citizens.
Extensive civic and community activities-including service on the Zoning Commission, leadership roles with the United Way, Future Fund of the Community Foundation of Greensboro, and GTCC provide me with a unique perspective and the relationships to build bridges and find solutions.
The majority of issues before the City Council relate to zoning and land use; my experience on the Zoning Commission gives me the background, knowledge and experience to make decisions to positively impact our City.
As a financial planner, budgets are my business. I am ready to roll up my sleeves and take a detailed, critical look at our City's budget-and find opportunities to improve our fiscal position.
I understand the role of economic development in building a thriving and vibrant community. We need leaders who are willing to put egos aside to work for what should be our top goal: recruiting and retaining businesses in Greensboro. I am that leader.
I, like you, want our City Council to make news because of its work and successes. I'm willing to do what it takes to build consensus to put the focus back where it should always be: improving our great city!
